3 Life Lessons From the Forest

3 Life Lessons From the Forest

Picture yourself in a grove of trees far from the beaten path. Branches and roots stretch outward toward the forest beyond. A bird flits casually by and you notice a small patch of vibrant red mushrooms in a ring beneath a giant White Pine. A sign that forest magic surrounds you, and permeates every aspect of human life.

There are 3 specific lessons the forest has taught me- I am called to share these pieces of wisdom so you may incorporate them into your daily life.

1. How to set and maintain good boundaries:

Nature is both humble and incredibly demanding of the recognition it deserves and has earned at all times. Our earth provides everything for us, including the materials it takes to bring us to the collective consciousness platform that is the internet. Nature sets good boundaries that are formed based on need in the form of regulating natural systems to maintain homeostasis. Humans can definitely take note of this and apply the magical stoic nature/forest energy to their own challenges with boundary setting.

2. Intentional reduction of waste in an intuitive manner:

Intentional living starts in the forest. One can learn many lessons from observing and questioning the natural world... for example- does nature have a landfill for synthetic materials it doesn’t know what to do with? No. Fungus is one of the many biological agents that help break down and recycle nutrients from many different sources. There is no waste in nature. This is intuitive and intelligent in design.

3. Duality in all things:

As stated above, each action of nature is regulating itself with an equal and opposite action somewhere else. This is the truth in all things: a cycle of actions and reactions is constantly repeating; represented in many ways within the forest. For example: when a parasite attacks a large grove of trees and thrives, only to be killed off by negative winter temperatures after 2 successful years...

These bits of knowledge are only a piece of what can be learned from something as simple as a morning stroll in the woods. Woods walks are best done with the company of a dog and some crystals for extra meditation potency.

Check out the crystal collection inventory page here to find something unique to bring on a forest adventure! Crystals often enhance the messages one can receive in nature simply by carrying them on your person.

And as always- blessings for an abundant and prosperous future filled with love, joy and continued healing.
